Job Description
We are a leading recruitment company in Sri Lanka and looking for an export documentation officer for a reputed tea export company located in Colombo. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of export documentation to ensure compliance with international regulations and smooth shipment processes.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage export documentation including commercial invoices packing lists certificates of origin and other required documents.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders shipping lines and customs agents to ensure timely clearance and delivery of shipments.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and requirements.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams customers and external stakeholders to resolve any documentationrelated issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all export documentation and transactions.
- Diploma in International Business Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Proven experience in export documentation (Sea and Airfreight) for over 3 years.
- Experience in Tea export will be a distinct advantage.
- Strong knowledge of export regulations and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and export documentation software.
