Note: Candidates must possess Oil & Gas domain knowledge expertise in AWS Cloud Python and Spark.

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Senior Data Solution Architect to join our team in Houston TX. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the Oil & Gas domain with proven experience in designing and implementing data solutions on the AWS Cloud platform using Python and Spark.

Responsibilities:

• Architect endtoend data solutions for our Oil & Gas clients leveraging AWS Cloud services.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable efficient data architecture solutions.
• Design and implement data pipelines data lakes and data warehouses to support analytics reporting and machine learning initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members guiding them in best practices for data architecture and engineering.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment of data solutions with business objectives and compliance requirements.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends continuously evaluating and recommending new tools and frameworks to enhance our data architecture capabilities.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of the Oil & Gas domain including industryspecific data models processes and challenges.
• Proficiency in AWS Cloud services including but not limited to S3 EC2 Redshift Glue Athena and EMR.
• Advanced programming skills in Python with experience in building data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Experience with Spark for distributed data processing and analysis.
• Solid understanding of data architecture principles including data modeling schema design and optimization techniques.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Strong problemsolving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for automated deployment and continuous integration.
