Coverage Type: Clinical only
Shift Schedule: 35 day stretch over a weekend once a month or 48 shifts/month
No. of Activations: Approx. 2000 annually
No. of ED Visits: 80000
Admissions Required: Yes
Support Staff: 2 NP/PAs
Duties:
Provider will cover all trauma and emergency general surgery.
Does NOT cover ICU. No trainees.
All subspecialty support needed for consults.
Required Procedures:
General Surgery: Adult & Trauma
Chest tube insertion
Central line insertion
No of ORs: 30 (1 blocked trauma OR)
Designated EGS Room available: Yes
Trauma Level: II
EMR: Epic
Other Info: Level 1 STEMI center.
Travel lodging and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements:
Active MO License
BC/BE
ABLS ATLS
Fellowship
Procedures: - General Surgery: Adult, Trauma - Chest tube insertion - Central line insertion
