Overview
The Agency Development Manager plays a crucial role in the development and execution of business strategies to drive sustainable growth and expansion for the company. They are responsible for recruiting training and motivating a team of agents or representatives to effectively sell the company s products and services. Additionally they establish and maintain strong relationships with agencies monitor performance metrics and drive the achievement of sales targets.
Key responsibilities
- Recruit train and develop a team of agents or representatives.
- Set sales targets and ensure they are met by the team.
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to expand the agency network.
- Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with agencies and key stakeholders.
- Provide ongoing support and motivation to the agency team to optimize performance.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to the team.

- Participate in the development of marketing and promotional materials.
- Drive the implementation of incentive programs to reward topperforming agents.
- Prepare and present reports on agency performance and market trends to senior management.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in business marketing or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales business development or insurance.
- Demonstrated success in recruiting managing and leading a sales team.
- Indepth knowledge of insurance products and industry regulations.
- Strong communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent leadership motivational and coaching abilities.
- Ability to analyze data and make strategic business decisions.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

- Certification in insurance or relevant field is a plus.
