Surgical TechnologistFirst Assistants are responsible for performing at a competent level of technologist practice and according to the standards of practice for the area. Performs patient care and service through a multidisciplinary team approach. Provides assistance in emergency procedures as well as elective and scheduled cases. Functions to maintain an environment of caring and concern for patients and staff members according to principles of patient focused care and customer service.
Requirement description :

• 1 Years of FA Experience Required
• BLS (AHA) Required
  
• Must be proficient in Ortho specifically total joints hip fx arthroscopy ORIFs and shoulder scopes and replacements

Profile Requirements:

• Work history
• Skills Checklist current to 1 year pertinent to the specialty
• 2 Supervisory References with dates employed listed
• Candidates Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates 50 mile radius restriction)

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

• BLS (AHA)

Weekend Requirements : For Call Only
On Call Requirements : 56 Call Shifts Per Month
