Your IT Recruiter is looking for a Verification Engineer for our client.
Responsible for ASIC & FPGA development on a R&D program. This engineer with have experience in developing testing and integrating FPGA platforms. Experience with COTS based control platforms and embedded processors on FPGA platforms. This person will help develop more affordable ways to automate and develop scripts to improve FPGA development efforts. Cross discipline collaboration with Software Engineers and other ASIC/FPGA engineers to create leading edge products for future business growth contributing to complex systems employing high speed networking concepts. The selected candidate will also provide support and technical direction to junior engineers. Overall contribution to design simulation integration & test of complex high speed products.

Education and Experience: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology. 5 to 10 years of Electrical Engineering experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Motor drive experience is preferred. Skills and Abilities: Able to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Solid knowledge of engineering design software and equipment. Experience with software programs in assembly, C or higher level for microcontroller based electronic controls. Able to write technical reports and complete documentation within required timeframes. Demonstrate the ability to function calmly in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Detail-oriented while still being connected to the larger project goals/outcomes. Outstanding communication, decision-making and organizational skills. Self-motivated with a willingness to dig in and be hands-on.
