Join our portfolio company: A German dualuse technology company that develops unmanned ground vehicles to spearhead automation in both governmental and civilian use cases.
In this role youll:
- Design develop and maintain software for robotic systems; including simulation control algorithms perception planning and user interfaces
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate robotics solutions into existing systems and workflows
- Perform thorough testing and validation of software solutions to ensure reliability efficiency and compliance
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for robotics systems including onsite and remote assistance when necessary
- Document software designs development processes and system configurations for internal and external stakeholders
- Select and integrate sensors for the solution of real and complex problems of the defense industry
Your Profile
- Proven experience in software development for robotics or automation systems
- Proficiency in C and ROS (Robot Operating System)
- Experience with software development tools and methodologies including version control (e.g. Git) and continuous integration
- Knowledge of electronics sensor selection and HW/SW integration
- Strong understanding of communication protocols and hardware interfaces (e.g. CAN Ethernet SPI I2C UART USB) and communication protocols
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Bachelors degree or Masters Degree in Computer Science Robotics or a related field
- Excellent communication skills in English
Please note that we are looking for support in the Munichoffice of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
