Join our portfolio company: A German dualuse technology company that develops unmanned ground vehicles to spearhead automation in both governmental and civilian use cases.

In this role youll:

• Design develop and maintain software for robotic systems; including simulation control algorithms perception planning and user interfaces
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate robotics solutions into existing systems and workflows
• Perform thorough testing and validation of software solutions to ensure reliability efficiency and compliance
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for robotics systems including onsite and remote assistance when necessary
• Document software designs development processes and system configurations for internal and external stakeholders
• Select and integrate sensors for the solution of real and complex problems of the defense industry

Your Profile

• Proven experience in software development for robotics or automation systems
• Proficiency in C and ROS (Robot Operating System)
• Experience with software development tools and methodologies including version control (e.g. Git) and continuous integration
• Knowledge of electronics sensor selection and HW/SW integration
• Strong understanding of communication protocols and hardware interfaces (e.g. CAN Ethernet SPI I2C UART USB) and communication protocols
• Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Bachelors degree or Masters Degree in Computer Science Robotics or a related field
• Excellent communication skills in English

Please note that we are looking for support in the Munichoffice of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
