Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the aftersales department in alignment with the companys overall objectives.
  • Oversee daytoday operations of the service parts and accessory departments ensuring efficient and effective delivery of aftersales services.
  • Implement best practices and processes to optimize service quality efficiency and profitability.
  • Manage inventory levels procurement and distribution of parts to support service operations and meet customer demand.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to service technicians and advisors to diagnose and resolve complex vehicle issues.
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets forecasts and financial performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations manufacturer standards and safety requirements related to aftersales operations including warranty claims processing recalls and service campaign initiatives.


Requirements

  • A bachelors degree in business administration automotive engineering management or a related field is often required. A masters degree or MBA is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • At least 510 years experience in aftersales operations within the automotive industry is essential.
  • Understanding of vehicle systems maintenance practices aftermarket parts warranty programs and regulatory requirements is essential.
  • Proficiency in financial management budgeting and financial analysis is important for overseeing departmental budgets monitoring expenses and maximizing revenue streams.
  • A solid understanding of automotive technology diagnostic procedures and repair processes is important for providing technical support.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations manufacturer standards and safety requirements related to aftersales operations is necessary to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
