Your tasks

Are you passionate about law and ecommerce and looking for a dynamic working environment Then let our KoRo team welcome you as a parttime or fulltime Legal Counsel (m/f/d). As part of our still small legal department at KoRo you will play a central role in advising our specialist departments on all legal matters in the European market. Your expertise is particularly in demand in the areas of general civil law contract and commercial law including general terms and conditions law ecommerce law competition law intellectual property law IT and data protection law labour law company law food law and compliance. Your other tasks will include:

• Reviewing and drafting contracts and supporting the specialist departments in contract negotiations
• Legal support for projects new products and the implementation of regulatory requirements
• Conducting and managing judicial and extrajudicial proceedings
• Participation in corporate law projects including the coordination of necessary applications and registrations
• Active participation in the professionalization of the company through the continuous conception and implementation of companywide guidelines processes and training as well as legal tech solutions including support in the introduction of a contract management system
• Managing and mandating external legal advisors

Your profile

• You are a fully qualified lawyer with 12 years of relevant professional experience in a commercial law firm or in a company
• You have very good knowledge of civil and commercial law ideally you have already gained professional experience in some of the other subject areas mentioned above
• You are business fluent in German and English
• You live in Berlin or the surrounding area or are willing to relocate to Berlin for your new position
• You are able to grasp complex topics quickly and present them in a way that is appropriate for the target audience. You also have very good project management skills
• You combine negotiating skills and assertiveness with a strong sense of teamwork
• You are open to familiarising yourself with previously unfamiliar topics technically adept and enthusiastic about designing and optimizing processes
• You think and act pragmatically and show a strong entrepreneurial understandingThe position is offered parttime (from 30h/week) or fulltime (40h/week).
