Product Development Manager RND

We are a recruitment company based in Colombo Sri Lanka. Once of our MNC clients is looking for a Product Development Manager and below is the summery of the Job Description

We are looking for a Product Development Manager to join our Research and Development team in Sri Lanka . As a Product Development Manager you will be responsible for leading the development of new products and improving existing ones to meet consumer needs and drive business growth.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute product development strategies in line with company goals including product desing activities (Innovation Renovation )
• Lead crossfunctional teams to bring new products to market on time and within budget
• Collaborate with marketing supply chain and other departments to ensure successful product launches
• Conduct market research to identify consumer trends and insights
• Manage product testing validation and regulatory compliance processes
• Monitor and analyze product performance and consumer feedback to drive continuous improvement

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Food Science Chemistry or Engineering
• Proven experience in product development or research and development
• Strong project management and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Detailoriented with a focus on quality and innovation

Desired Experience:

• 7 years of experience in product development in the consumer goods industry preferred
• Experience working with crossfunctional teams
• Knowledge of market trends and consumer insights
