About the Job
We are seeking a meticulous and detailoriented Data Quality Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data into our systems ensuring the integrity and accuracy of information. The Data Quality Analyst will play a crucial role in maintaining and updating databases spreadsheets and other company records.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Entry:
Input update and verify data in a timely and accurate manner.
Transfer data from paper formats reports and other sources into electronic databases or spreadsheets.
Perform routine data cleaning and validation to ensure accuracy.
2. Database Maintenance:
Maintain and update databases with the latest information.
Ensure data integrity by identifying and correcting errors or inconsistencies.
Regularly backup and archive data to prevent loss.
3. Quality Assurance:
Conduct regular audits to identify and rectify discrepancies in data.
Crosscheck data for completeness and accuracy.
4. Documentation:
Create and maintain detailed records of data entry activities.
Generate reports and summaries as required.
5. Collaboration:
Collaborate with other departments to obtain and verify data.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
6. Adherence to Procedures:
Follow established procedures and guidelines for data entry and management.
Ensure compliance with data privacy and security policies.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Data Quality Analyst or similar role.
Excellent typing and Data Quality Analyst with a high level of accuracy.
Familiarity with Data Quality Analyst software and databases.
Basic understanding of data confidentiality principles.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Proficient in MS Office suite (especially Excel) and data management tools.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in Data Quality Analyst or related field is a plus.
Working Conditions:
Officebased environment.
Regular working hours with the possibility of overtime during peak periods.
