An upscale Inn business in Central and Western Virginia seeks a Facilities Manager to oversee three properties between Lexington and Charlottesville. This position will report directly to the Owner and have critical relationships with each Innkeeper.

Facilities Manager Responsibilities:
- On a regular basis align with the Owner around longterm capital planning (35 years) needs and develop highlevel planning cost estimates timelines for execution and options/alternatives
- Plan and execute nearterm capital planning projects/improvements focused on the least disruption possible to the operation of properties including:
o Obtaining necessary government approvals/permits
o Work with property Innkeepers on scheduling/timing of projects
o Project planning contractor/subcontractor bidding awarding of contracts scheduling of contractors
o Updating Owner consistently on the status of major projects/improvements to ensure execution aligned to the vision
o Lead/manage the projects and all contractors/subcontractors change orders budget revisions and project closeouts
- Manage and report on annual/monthly preventative maintenance on all properties to support guest experience on a daytoday basis (functionality aesthetics etc)
- Manage execute and report on a minor routine maintenance program being handson where possible or managing contractors with needed/necessary expertise
- Manage and maintain emergency maintenance needs on a timely basis with necessary contractor relationships for all properties for resolution within 24 hours (critical needs) or 72 hours (noncritical needs)
- Manage landscape contractors to ensure clean fresh and bright landscaping of all properties with seasonal refreshes where needed.
- Manage and execute a sustainability/recycling initiative across all properties
