Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and organized Sales Department Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential administrative support to our sales department assisting in various tasks to ensure smooth operations and efficient sales processes. This role requires strong communication skills attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team with administrative tasks such as data entry filing managing correspondence and maintaining sales databases.
- Generate and analyze sales reports regularly identifying trends opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments meetings and events for the sales team ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
- Assist in the preparation of sales presentations proposals and marketing materials ensuring accuracy and consistency in branding and messaging.
- Collaborate with the sales team to support them in achieving their targets including conducting research preparing sales documents and following up on leads.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new sales team members providing support and training on internal systems processes and procedures.
- Undertake special projects and assignments as directed by the sales director or departmental leadership contributing to the overall success of the sales department.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelors degree preferred.
- Proven experience in an administrative or sales support role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and timemanagement abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn.
- Prior experience in a sales environment is a plus.
