Data Engineer

• The ability to design implement and optimize largescale data and analytics solutions on Snowflake Data Engineering
  
• Implementing ETL pipelines within and outside of a data warehouse using Python and Snowflake SnowSQL
  
• Performing DML and DDL on Snowflake
  
• Development of scripts using Python for loading extracting and transforming data.
  
• Assist with production issues in data warehouses like loading data transformations and translations.
  

Requirements

• 3 Experience with Snowflake data engineering/data warehousing.
  
• 3 5 years of experience in Python or familiar with other scripting languages
  
• 3 5 years experience with SQL
  
• Experience in the implementation execution and maintenance of data Integration technology solutions
  
• Understanding of enterprise data management concepts (Data Ingestion Data Lake Data Warehouse Data Engineering Data Sharing Data Applications)
  
• Understanding of the competitive ETL space in cloud data warehousing
  
• Working knowledge of software engineering best practices
  
• Experience with GIT
  
• Working knowledge of private or public cloud computing platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  
• Transform replicate and share data across cloud platforms
  
• SnowPro Data Engineer certification
  
• AWS Azure certification would be a plus.
  

• Hands on experience working on largescale data science/data analytics projects
  
• Handson experience with Data Analytics technologies such as AWS Hadoop Spark Spark SQL Mlib or Storm/Samza
  
• Experience with DBT is a plus
  
• Familiarity with Snowpipe and/or Snowpark
  
• Implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing enterprise environments
  
• Proficiency with at least one the languages such as C Java Scala or Python
  
• Excellent speakinglisteningwriting skills attention to details proactive selfstarter
  
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritise workloads
  
• Ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions.
