Job Description
At Volumetree were seeking a passionate AWS DevOps Engineer to drive the evolution of our cloudbased infrastructure and deployment practices. Youll work within the leadership team to estalish devops pipelines working on live scaled up products.
Key Responsibilities:
Architecting & Implementing AWS Solutions: Design and build highly available scalable and faulttolerant systems on the AWS platform leveraging core services like EC2 S3 RDS Lambda and more.
CI/CD Automation: Develop and streamline robust continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines to accelerate our development cycles and optimize release processes.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Champion IaC principles by using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform to provision and manage infrastructure in a consistent and repeatable manner.
Monitoring & Observability: Establish comprehensive monitoring logging and alerting systems to proactively identify and troubleshoot issues within our AWS environment.
Security Best Practices: Enforce rigorous security standards across our AWS infrastructure safeguarding data and systems from potential threats.
Collaboration: Work closely with developers operations teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that align with business objectives.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.
2 years of handson experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on AWS.
Indepth knowledge of AWS services (EC2 S3 VPC RDS CloudFormation Lambda etc.).
Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python Bash PowerShell).
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitLab CI/CD AWS CodePipeline CodeBuild).
Solid understanding of Linux operating systems.
Preferred:
AWS certifications (Solutions Architect DevOps Engineer SysOps Administrator).
Experience with Docker and containerization technologies (Kubernetes a plus).
Working knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible Chef Puppet).
