The Warehouse Supervisor oversees shipping and receiving logistics and personnel. This individual is responsible for accepting documenting and staging all items delivered to the Trendsetter facility. The Warehouse Supervisor will also package ship and record all items being sent out from the Trendsetter facility.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as main point of contact for all shipping and receiving
- Communicate with production execution team on any shipping related issues
- Supervise shipping/receiving personnel
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments
- Generate packing lists for all outgoing shipments including international harmonized codes
- Verify and document all items received in shop
- Input receiving information in accounting system
- Identify and tag inventory and consignment items
- Keep in communication with Quality Assurance to ensure effective inspection times
- Stage newly received items in quarantine area to be quality checked
- Assist organizing inventory according to standards set by inventory control
- Manage kitting requirements per shop capacities
- Manage documented items as they enter and exit the inventory area
- Operate fork lift and other heavy equipment
- Promote safety awareness and complies with all applicable safety procedures and regulations
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Maintain current knowledge of safety standards
- Be familiar with Company HSE policies and procedures
- All other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED and at least 5 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in a supervisor position
- Experience with international shipping and Harmonized Tariff codes
- Experience with an inventory control system
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills both verbal and written
- Ability to demonstrate strong decisionmaking skills initiative and assertiveness
- Must be able to operate a forklift
Qualifications: Education: Engineering Degree from an EAC/ABET accredited program. E.I.T. Certification or passed FE exam preferred Experience and Skills: o Minimum of 5 years experience in engineering design and approval processes o Minimum of 2 years experience in subsea equipment design o Proficient in SolidWorks and ANSYS modeling software o Proficient with Microsoft Office Systems (Word, Excel, MS Project) Knowledgeable in AutoCAD 2D and Mathcad software Personal Attributes: Strong leadership and organizational skills Good communication & presentation skills, both written and oral Ability to adapt to change, when required due to the rapid response nature of business Work autonomously as well as under direction Handle multiple projects and deadlines with changing priorities
