Job Description
An SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Strategist plays a crucial role in enhancing online visibility driving organic traffic and improving search engine rankings for a companys website. The primary focus is on developing and implementing effective SEO strategies to achieve business goals and maximize online presence.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify relevant terms and phrases for the target audience.
Analyze keyword competitiveness and search volume to prioritize and target
Optimize website content for targeted keywords ensuring proper placement in titles meta descriptions headers and body text.
Collaborate with content creators to produce SEOfriendly content including blog posts landing pages and product descriptions.
Monitor and enhance website architecture for optimal crawling and indexing by search engines.
Identify and resolve technical issues that may impact search engine rankings such as page speed mobile responsiveness and URL structure.
Develop and execute a strategic linkbuilding plan to acquire highquality backlinks from authoritative websites.
Establish partnerships and collaborations to enhance the websites link profile and domain authority.
Utilize web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) to track and analyze website performance user behavior and SEO KPIs.
Generate regular reports to showcase key metrics and insights providing recommendations for improvement.
Stay informed about industry trends algorithm updates and competitor strategies.
Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities and gaps in the SEO landscape.
Optimize local business listings and profiles to improve visibility in local search results.
Implement local SEO strategies to enhance the online presence of brickandmortar businesses.
Stay abreast of the latest SEO developments tools and best practices.
Proactively seek opportunities for professional development and skill enhancement.
Work closely with crossfunctional teams including content creators web developers and marketing teams to ensure alignment with broader business objectives.
Identify challenges and proactively propose solutions to improve overall SEO performance.
Stay adaptable and responsive to changes in search engine algorithms and industry trends.
Requirement:
. Min. 5 years of experience
Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Computer Science or related field.
Proven experience in SEO strategy development and implementation.
Indepth knowledge of search engine algorithms ranking factors and SEO tools.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Proficiency in web analytics tools and SEO software.
