Tier 1 Technician Job Description
WHAT YOULL BE DOING:
- Provide technical assistance to customers via phone email and chat
- Manage and support customer networks equipment and services
- Develop customer relationships through excellent customer service
- Document issues and solutions via ticketing and internal knowledge base
- Onboard new hires and provision desktop equipment
- Collaborate with staff customers and vendors
MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in IT Support or professional training
- Basic understanding of LAN/WAN configuration
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively
- Ability to read and write technical documentation
- Have a passion for teamwork and problem solving
- Strong desire to learn and to grow your technical skill set
- Must be wellspoken detailoriented dependable and flexible
- High school or equivalent (Required)
ITS AN ASSET IF YOU HAVE:
- Previous Managed Service Provider or IT Services firm experience
- Experience with ConnectWise Labtech Cisco Meraki Proofpoint
- Industry certifications such as Microsoft or CompTIA
- Experience with Microsoft Server or VMWare Server
- Experience with scripting and automation
- Experience with Apple products
- Experience with VOIP solutions
- Military DD214
