JOB DESCRIPTION:
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To carry out the work of the service personnel in accordance with the quality policy commitments
- To intervene and resolve the malfunction notification reported to him in a timely manner
- Recording customer requests and complaints and notifying them to the service chief/service technical manager
- Identify and record nonconformities during service delivery
- To perform the maintenance in a timely manner, accurately and appropriately, depending on the periodical maintenance program given to him
- To inform the customer about the operation of the device and the work done
- Keeping complete and complete records of workmanship and materials installed
- To prepare by adhering to the service instructions, to make up for the lack of tools-tools and materials, if any
- Notifying the service chief/service technical manager if there are defective devices/tools
- Filling the service information form and periodic maintenance form and having the customer sign it
- To comply with the instructions of the manager to whom he is affiliated
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or similar
- Certifications preferred:
- One of Cummins or Perkins brand engines ECM & ECU, INSIDE or Pandoras programing, diagnostic and troubleshooting certificate
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- 3 - 5 Years Mechanical Engineering experience
- Engine, Mechanics, internal combustion, industrial engine maintenance and repair
- Domestic and international travelling required
- Drivers license + own vehicle
