The User Experience Lead is accountable for guiding a global team consisting of entrylevel to seasoned professionals with a focus on shaping the overall vision and strategy for user experience. This involves transforming intricate problems into intuitive solutions that drive the direction of our product evolution. In this capacity the role involves supporting crossfunctional teams by effectively communicating and offering feedback on product design principles and updates to users ensuring a positive user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishes goals and objectives for team members to achieve operational results.
- Supervises colleagues at the support and/or professional level.
- Ensures understanding and adherence to policies practices and procedures by direct reports customers and stakeholders.
- Leads and prioritizes the daily activities of the team.
- Manages mentors and coaches to foster a collaborative and dynamic team.
- Coordinates crossfunctional communication to align on initiatives and strategies for enhanced efficiency.
- Develops and executes a comprehensive strategy for user experience aligned with company goals and customer needs.
- Cultivates a design culture and promotes thought leadership throughout the team.
- Actively pursues continuous improvements based on analytics staying informed on the behaviors of ConnectWise partners.
- Collaborates crossfunctionally to communicate and implement product concepts and launches.
- Conducts and oversees usability testing interprets test results and integrates insights into design improvements.
- Assists in planning and participating in user research and testing incorporating findings into designs.
- Stays current on industry trends and advancements in user experience design and technology actively seeking ways to improve and innovate.
Requirements
- Professional presence suitable for interaction in various settings including meetings inperson or email communication and internal and external events.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Understanding of ConnectWise partners and users advocating for them when proposing designs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fastpaced environment.
- Rapid generation and evaluation of multiple design solutions followed by improvement on selected designs.
- Proficiency in prototyping interaction design and visual design.
- Knowledge of user experience research software such as usability testing survey and web analytics tools (e.g. Pendo Maze Dovetail FigJam or similar).
