Job Description
Job Title: Senior Azure Developer (Java, Python, and/or Javascript) with Azure DevOps Experience
Company: SWAN AI
Location: Remote
Hourly Rate: $70-75/hr.
Job Description:
- SWAN AI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Azure Developer with proficiency in Java, Python, and/or Javascript, along with substantial expertise in Azure DevOps. As a Senior Azure Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions on the Azure cloud platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, architects, and product owners to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions.
- Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy software solutions on the Azure cloud platform using Java, Python, and/or Javascript.
- Work closely with architects and product owners to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure applications.
- Utilize Azure DevOps tools and services to streamline the software development lifecycle, including version control, build automation, and release management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues, optimize performance, and ensure seamless integration of various components.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback to team members, and mentor junior developers.
- Stay updated with the latest Azure technologies and best practices to continuously enhance development processes and solutions.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Senior Azure Developer with expertise in Java, Python, and/or Javascript.
- Strong background in developing and deploying applications on the Azure cloud platform.
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps tools and services, including Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, and Azure Artifacts.
- Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts, microservices architecture, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with serverless computing and Azure Functions is a plus.
- Familiarity with database technologies such as Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate) are highly desirable.
