Location: 6400 NW 86th Street, Johnston, IA

Salary : 105,000 110,000 / Annum

Major Purpose:

• Utilizes user experience research insights to accelerate discussions and decisions in early product development.
• Applies internal/external standards to create visualizations guiding product teams from concept to solution, ensuring brand consistency.
• Deals with moderate to high complexity, multiple user classes, and personas, potentially creating new personas.
• Designs cover multiple products/components across platforms, enabling concurrent user interactions.
• Leads/participates in UX strategy creation for related solutions.
• Shares knowledge, mentors, and coaches less-experienced UX Designers.

Major Duties:

• Designs high-quality user experience elements/components.
• Integrates branding and design guidelines into products.
• Creates wireframes, mock-ups, prototypes, and specifications.
• Maintains style guides for different delivery methods.
• Follows user-centered design methodologies.
• Translates analytics data into visual designs and vice versa.
• Monitors external design trends' impact on internal philosophies.
• Conducts research and recommends emerging design trends adoption.

Skills, Abilities, Knowledge:

• Proficiency in core user interface languages.
• Technical expertise in a specialized engineering area.
• Strong interpersonal communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to deliver clean digital user interfaces across various devices.

Education:

• Degree in Information Technology, Marketing, or equivalent experience (4-year university degree).

Work Experience:

• 4-7 years of experience in a team environment.
• 4-7 years of industry-specific experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in facilitating relevant workshops.
