Job Description

10 Points is looking for a dynamic educator in multiple cities of Massachusetts as we have multiple positions for SPED teacher that need to be filled as soon as possible who value equity, and social-emotional learning, and who provides access to high-level educational experiences for all students with his/her experience and expertise.


Requirements

Qualified candidates will:
Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to educational equity and instructional excellence.
Provide a safe, inclusive, and welcoming learning environment for all students.
Create lesson plans, aligned with current state and district standards, which drive instruction through differentiation and culturally-responsive teaching.
Develop appropriate and measurable IEP goals in accordance with district and state regulations/procedures.

Additional Requirements:
MA SPED (Pre- k to 8 or 5-12) certification required
Prior experience preferred
Bachelors degree preferred

They will also foster professional friendships with faculty and staff, seek collaborative relationships with parents, and mentor students in the pursuit of their own flourishing. Conduct occupational therapy assessments and interpret results to support student learning. Participate in IEP meetings, MTSS meetings, and other staff or department meetings. Provide direct and consultative therapeutic services to students in individual or group settings, per IEP requirements. Create goals and objectives for students to work toward and identify areas of progress and challenges. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to design and implement appropriate interventions and accommodations for students. Maintain student records and submit information/records, including student progress, as needed to support students and adhere to IEP regulations.
