Job Description

This position may be offered to a candidate authorized to work in the US for his/her/their stated employer, without any restrictions which would prevent the candidate from working on the proposed assignment for the duration of the assignment period.

Must Haves: Strong proficiency with Microsoft technologies, JIRA. Proficient with Network paradigms such as Proxy, Firewalls, Protocols and Architecture. Experience in Information security domains such IAM, SSO, Credential Vaulting and API Gateways. Proficient with working with SQL RDBMS and REST API. Experience with various project methodologies such as Agile, waterfall, and Dev Ops methodologies.

  • IT Enterprise Business Technology Office (BTO) - Corporate Technologies department has an exciting opportunity for a motivated systems analyst passionate about using technology to solve business needs.
  • In this role, the successful candidate will be part of IT development, maintenance, & support work for systems used by various business divisions. The candidate will have strong project management abilities, analytical thinking capacity, sound technology experience and excellent communication skills.


Our Impact:

  • Enterprise BTO provides end-to-end project management (concept to implementation) for a portfolio of projects, products and business initiatives sponsored by our Corporate Communications, Corporate Facilities, Economic Research, and Relations with Government Regulators & Industry business partners in CAO division
  • Our team manages systems and applications used by CAO division to provide a wide range of services that support employees and corporate functions
  • We work closely with our business partners to balance the needs of various partners including customer experience, risk management, data integrity, time to market and operational efficiency
  • Ensure we understand and solve business needs utilizing a variety of state-of-the-art technology solutions including COTS, SaaS, and home-grown capabilities


Your Impact:

Project Planning & Delivery:

  • Engage with project stakeholders to understand and document scope and requirements
  • Assess and create detailed reasonable project estimates, manage and track delivery of projects
  • Lead evaluation of different technology solutions involving COTS/SaaS or custom build or hybrid
  • Recommend cost-effective solution options per scope, assumptions, and constraints
  • Accountable for ensuring all work efforts are completed on time to meet project "Go-Live" dates
  • Identify, track, manage, and escalate project risks and issues on a timely fashion


Maintenance, Operations, and Business Support:

  • Lead/support impact analyses related to applications' maintenance and support
  • Lead/support assigned ad-hoc activities related to business technology and analysis requests
  • Design and lead operational activities to streamline and optimize team's performance
  • Standardize and document new or changing processes and utilize automation


Leadership and Communication:

  • Collaborate with IT/business/vendor stakeholders for successful product deployments
  • Work proactively, independently or as part of a team and serve as a champion of change
  • Prepare and present project business cases and solution alternatives to IT and business stakeholders, and leadership
  • Be innovative in providing solutions and take on challenges with calculated risk


Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of related work experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management systems, or business administration or related experience.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical abilities with excellent communication skills
  • Strong experience in end-to-end analysis, design, implementation, and support of applications of varying implementation methods (on premise vs. cloud, COTS vs. in-house developed, etc.,)
  • Experience coordinating multiple, cross-functional IT projects (waterfall/agile) with internal and external vendors to ensure progress against project budget, schedule, and resource plans
  • Ability to work independently with technical and infrastructure teams (Architecture, Network, Facilities, Security, & Engineering teams) to develop and manage delivery schedule
  • Experience with production application maintenance, support, and business operations
  • Ability to work effectively with continuous change and short deadlines
  • Ability to identify, manage, report and escalate project risks and issues
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft technologies, JIRA.

  • Experience in Information security domains such IAM, SSO, Credential Vaulting and API Gateways.
  • Proficient with working with SQL RDBMS and REST API.

  • Familiarity with Mortgage Industry or direct clients Experience is an added plus
