The Purpose of Your Role
The Program Director is the facility authority and establishes safe, effective, and efficient implementation of direct care policies, procedures, and treatment protocols. In effect, they are the CEO of their facility. As the facility leader, they will hire, train and nurture the growth of their staff while fostering a culture of teamwork, achievement, respect, and fun. They will oversee the clinical integrity of the program, assist in managing referral relationships, manage their facility budget, and enjoy the satisfaction of providing the best treatment to clients and families in the nation. The Program Director adheres to company policies, procedures, and ethical business and clinical practices.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees the well-being of both staff and clients
- Manages their leadership team with integrity, respect, clarity, and fun
- Leads in a way that fosters individual and departmental responsibility
- Ensures their staff are well trained and achieving standardized Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) consistently
- Understands and executes facility projects based on executive directives, goals, budget and expected timelines
- Ensures facility auditing processes can measure KPIs for the projects, capacity, revenue, employee satisfaction, sales targets, sales by lead, efficiency increase, etc.
- Nurtures a culture of appreciation, recognition, and positivity
- Ensures effective facility communication processes for all departments (including Billing/Accounting/IT) and heads of their team when projects move into the operational phase
- Ensures effective use of department meeting times
- Performs mental health assessments, including differential diagnosis, planning, organizing, and implementing lesson plans for group settings, treatment, coordination of treatment, individual psychotherapy with the facility's evidence-based protocol
- Monitors program budgets closely and ensures that program financial performance is meeting goals
- Ensures compliance, policy implementation, and compliance in client records, including written documentation such as progress notes, group therapy notes, etc.
- Provides clinical supervision and oversight for clinical assistants (behavioral health technicians)
- Completes all Train the Trainer coaching and responsibilities
- Mastery of group therapy with an emphasis on Dialectical Behavior therapy and process
- Masters de-escalation techniques, crisis planning, and management
- Maintains a safe and clean environment
- Achieves effective ownership, oversight, and management of clinical, administrative, and facility functions while understanding and contributing to quarterly and fiscal goals for your specific facility
- Oversees Value Drivers relevant to the facility (Customer Interactions, Employee Interactions, Business Resources)
- Oversees and actively participates in the business implementation of corporate initiatives as needed
- Oversees the practical application of the company mission statement and company culture through direct modeling and management
- Perpetuates a skillful and organized IOP, such as comprehensive documentation, development, and delivery of skill group, de-escalation techniques, crisis planning, and management
- Accountable for the fiscal responsibility of the clinic in terms of staff productivity, program growth, and all billability of services
- Accountable for ensuring adequate risk management and client satisfaction with services
- Ensures standards of ethical business and clinical practice are maintained

The Attitudes, Skills, and Expertise You Have:
- Master's degree or higher in social work, clinical mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, or other related fields
- Current and unrestricted state licensure
- 5+ years experience in a mental health management position
- A relentless passion for personal growth and development
- Humility and willingness to learn. accept appropriate feedback and apply evidenced based techniques.
- Clinical ability to develop healthy therapeutic relationships with clients and to assist them to achieve improvement
- A working knowledge of clinical modalities, philosophies and trends
- A willingness to become an effective leader.

- Proficient knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer software
- Accurate and efficient electronic data entry

Preferred Qualifications:
- OCD and anxiety experience
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy experience
