  • Job Title : Site EHS Manager
  • Job Location : AZ - Phoenix, 85043 (Onsite)
  • Job Type : Full Time
  • Salary: USD $121,200

Job Summary

  • The ideal candidate for this role must be able to act as a strong change agent within the site and be able to influence managers and employees to take appropriate actions. Must be able to effectively communicate EHS risks and assist leaders in assessing and prioritizing these risks based on legal requirements and business objectives/needs. Must be able to work closely with management and legal counsel to address regulatory compliance and liability issues.


Requirements

  • At a minimum must hold a bachelor?s degree in a technical discipline: Occupational Safety & Health, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environment, Health and Safety, Chemistry, Biology, or appropriate science-related field. Advanced certification, additional specialized safety education, and/or equivalent work experience are desired but not required.
  • These may include Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) NEBOSH Certification, etc.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the environmental, health and safety discipline with a strong focus on safety required.
  • At least 5 years of working in a manufacturing environment as a safety professional is required.
  • Experience in aerospace preferred.
