As the demand for mental health services continues to grow, we are currently seeking a Remote Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide vital mental health support from the comfort of your own home, utilizing telehealth technology to reach patients in need.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for individuals with psychiatric disorders
  • Monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
  • Prescribe and manage medications
  • Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families regarding treatment options and strategies
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatric Mental Health
  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
  • Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an NP in a psychiatric setting
  • Proficiency in telehealth technology and virtual patient care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload
  • Knowledge of mental health legislation and best practices
