You will join our team of highly skilled engineers and technicians to fabricate, install, repair, and maintain a variety of electrical systems, including electrical panels, lighting, motor controls, and Solar Photovoltaic systems. Electrician/Solar Photovoltaic Technician Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond to service calls quickly and within the expected timeframe
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
- Discuss the request for repairs or installation and provide estimates for cost and timeline
- Follow specifications on blueprints or technical drawings for installations
- Perform routine maintenance on various systems as requested
- Conduct system repairs and installations according to
- Familiarity with PLC systems is preferred
- Configures PV systems based on site conditions and client needs and ;
- Inspects electrical installation and
- Tests operating voltages and calibrates to ensure systems are within acceptable power
- Ensures that equipment is weather
- Performs routine maintenance on PV
- Performs other related duties as
Requirements
Electrician/Solar Photovoltaic Technician Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational or technical school training
- Current apprentice/journeyman electrician license (preferred)
- Able to read blueprints, technical drawings, and diagrams and follow specifications
- Solid working knowledge of commercial and residential electrical systems
- Metal working and welding experience desired
- Fabrication and installation using hand and power tools
- Valid drivers license
- Able to work independently
- Kowledge of PV equipment and installation
- Extensive knowledge of electrical wiring and equipment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read equipment manuals
