THE POSITION
TheExecutive Chef is directly responsible for all kitchen functions including food purchasing, preparation andmaintenance of quality standards; sanitation and cleanliness; training of employees in methods of cooking, preparation,plate presentation, portion and cost control.
Develop menus and recipes. Supervise staff. Develop and monitor food and labor budget for the department. Maintainhighest professional food quality and sanitation standards.
THE POTENTIAL
The Executive Chef basedin Miami could overlook at the different restaurants and become a Corporate Executive Chef in the future.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirementslisted below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or five years related experience and/or training; orequivalent combination of education and experience in high standards establishment.
Experience : Executive Chef for a lifestyle high-end concept with a Mediterranean cuisine
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, committees, suppliers, members, and employees
COMPUTER SKILLS
Working knowledge of various computer software programs, such as Excell, word, e-mails,
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limitedstandardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
