Job Description
Job Title: Framer Carpenter
No of Vacancies: 4
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend
Anticipated Start Date (at the latest in 3 months): As soon as possible
Work Address: 15725 84 Avenue, Surrey, BC, V4N 0W5
Working Location: Construction, Residential.
Candidates are required to work at various locations as per company contracts. (Outdoors, at heights)
Wage rate: $29.00 per hour, 37.50 hours per week.
Education: Not required. (High School an asset)
Experience: 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
Languages: English
Job Duties:
Study diagrams to determine dimensions to be constructed.
Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard, using carpenter's hand tools and power tools.
Measure and cut saw boards, or plywood to required size, using handsaw, power saw, or other woodworking machine.
Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients.
Construct building frameworks.
Install temporary supports in structures undergoing construction or repair.
Supervise apprentices and other construction workers and may provide estimated cost of project.
Additional Skills: Supervise other workers, Estimate costs and materials.
