We are seeking a European Policy and Campaign Director to drive policy campaigns and lead advocacy and stakeholder engagement activities within Brussels and across a number of Member States. This role will be based in Brussels.
The role will directly report to the Vice President of Global Government Relations for EMEAI with a matrix report to the Director of Government Relations, Performance Materials and Technologies for EMEA. The position will be responsible for managing and executing multiple policy campaigns on behalf of the Performance Materials and Technologies Business as outlined by Honeywell Government Relations leadership.
The Policy and Campaign Director will drive adoption and enforcement of regulations and policies that support Honeywell s products. The responsibilities will include:
Own and implement overall campaign strategy in Brussels and across key Member States
Coordinate a cross-functional team spanning legal, commercial, communications, regulatory, R&D, product stewardship, and sales functions
Establish and maintain effective relationships with regulators, elected officials, civil servants, and other key stakeholders
Develop and oversee the production of high-quality written recommendations, briefings, publications, presentations and other collateral that communicate complex messages clearly and effectively to audiences, with a focus on government stakeholders
Coordinate strategy with consultants and trade association representatives to ensure active engagement on areas of interest to Honeywell and that all are aligned in support of our business strategies
Organize and drive communication with Honeywell senior leadership, including meetings, briefings, and campaign reviews.
You Must Have:
Bachelor s degree or equivalent with 10+ years experience in highly regulated industry or regulatory positions in government business or associations in the EU
Multifunctional leadership experience in a fast-paced and demanding work environment
Expertise working with EU institutions and EU member states on enactment and implementation
Strong knowledge of and network in EU institutions and key stakeholders relevant to energy efficiency, climate, chemicals and chemical safety or other highly regulated industries
Proven experience with long-term legislative/regulatory strategy in the EU and or member states
Experience managing a multi-faceted policy campaign in the EU and across Member States
Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships
