Systems Engineer - Kafka Specialist

This is a remote position.

Are you a Senior Linux Systems Engineer with experience in Kafka?

Do you want to join a publicly traded company and help scale their operations faster?

Do not worry, there are no on-call responsibilities.

What you ll be doing:

• In this role, you will be supporting centralized Kafka services and all the infrastructure around it
  
• You will be a Kafka expert and will answer developer questions.
  
• You will work on special projects
  
• You would be a key member of the infrastructure team
  

Requirements

What we re looking for:

• Have over 6 years of experience maintaining and deploying virtual infrastructure
  
• Experience solving complex Linux problems
  
• Experience using Kafka, SaltStack, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, CloudFormation, Github, OpenStack, AWS, GCP, Azure
  
• Experience working with public and private clouds
  
• A passion for automation
