Our client, a global out-of-home advertising company, is looking for an experienced and dedicated research analyst to join their marketing team in Canada. The ideal candidate will have a background in data analytics and communications. Your main area of focus will be the assembly of marketing collateral supported by extensive research using demographic, psychographic, and product consumption data. You will play an integral role in various RFP submissions and will build content assets that will help bring our organization’s OOH story to life.
Responsibilities:
Tell stories using 3rd party data sources such as Vividata, Numeris, and statistics Canada.
Cross tabbing experience is required.
Conduct highly customized research to support the sales process in proving the effectiveness of the Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising medium for current and prospective clients.
Experience in uncovering trends, identifying opportunities, and conducting primary research studies is an asset.
Study industry publications and remain fully informed on market trends, third-party research, and the implementation of best practices.
Interpret data, build personas, and make OOH media recommendations based on the results of your research findings.
Develop product-specific presentations and lead the development of seasonal roadshows.
Draft survey questions for recall studies, implement and manage studies with research partners, and report results for internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct periodic workshops and present up-to-date research findings to your peers that can lead to enhancement of current marketing materials.
Responsible for presentation development aimed at promoting the sales of our OOH media assets. Previous experience in communication strategy development—as well as in building category presentations and RFP proposals—is an asset.
Supporting the creative marketing team in updating presentations, writing copy, proofreading and brainstorming ideas for upcoming roadshow presentations.

Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in Marketing or Research and/or a relevant field
2-3 years of work experience in research and analytics
Ability to interpret large amounts of data to creatively tell a story
Strong oral, written, and presentation skills
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, formulas, and pivot tables
