Project Management of an eCommerce spare parts site into the Mexico Market. .
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, manage and execute software development projects and related initiatives.
Guide and oversee work through the software development life cycle including planning, requirements gathering / explore, iterative development sprints, quality assurance, user acceptance testing and release.
Track milestones, deliverables and changes requests.
Ensures project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost.
Communicate status, milestones and changes to IT, business team members, and project SteerCo.
Actively work with business partners to gather, analyze and document business needs.
Collaborate with product stakeholders to understand their business requirements, developing user stories and specifications to support system changes.
Adapts effectively to changing cultures and organizational structures, new procedures, or systems, and effectively leads and interacts with different types/levels of personnel.
Works effectively with customer/project/departmental personnel or those outside the formal line of authority to accomplish project/departmental goals.
Required background experience and skills:
6-10 years of experience required.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with users and business partners at all levels, written and verbal communication skills (both technical and non-technical)
Good leadership, decision-making, and organization skills.
Knowledge of the technical constraint and dependencies of IT systems
Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Knowledge and experience with agile development methodologies
Hands on experience managing an Agile-Scrum development project from inception to implementation
Proven project management skills and experience: planning, executing and monitoring
Proven ability to work in a cross functional organization, analyze and document business and technical requirements, handle ambiguity and lead tasks to completion
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Good understanding or background in software development
Bi-lingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
PMI or PMP certification preferred.
Demonstrated competency in the nine project management knowledge areas required (Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Human Resource, Communications, Risk, and Procurement Management).
eCommerce systems experience - significant plus
