Senior Business System Analyst

Position : Business Systems Analyst with 9+ Years of experience.

Location : South San Francisco, California Open to local candidates. The role is required to be onsite 3-4 days/week

The Business System Analyst must be an effective negotiator, leader, and communicator in working with Roche/Genentech's multiple business units as well as with internal IT cross-functional teams. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems or related field; Master's degree in Business or Science is preferred
• Overall 9+ years of experience as Business Systems Analyst
• Strong hands-on and leadership experience in deploying a board set of AI/ML technologies
• Experience and understanding of application development methodology - including Agile and Waterfall approaches, functional requirements, process modeling/re-engineering, use case development, user acceptance testing, organizational change management, and large-scale system implementations
• Understanding and experience in ML and data science concepts
• Demonstrated success in handling initiatives of high complexity, high profile, and large-scale programs
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn the business in unfamiliar areas
• Ability to work in an environment of competing and alternating priorities with a constant focus on delivery
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and presentation skills; solid business acumen; well-honed influencing skills are essential
• Self-motivated and team-oriented; able to work both autonomously and effectively as part of a geographically dispersed team
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and other Agile tools preferred
• Proven leadership abilities and emotional intelligence
