Designation: Disaster Recovery Engineer

Job Description:

• This role will primarily focus on application and technology analysis, planning, and conducting DR testing that includes cyber threat recovery. The ideal candidate will have experience in:
• Enterprise Disaster Recovery methodologies and best practices
• Modern Technology platforms, architectures, and patterns (Mainframe, WebSphere, Windows, AWS, and hyper-converged infrastructure)
• This role will be supporting cyber resiliency efforts
• Your role will be a team member in Enterprise Disaster Recovery team working on Cyber Resiliency/Recovery efforts within Infrastructure and Cloud Services department

What are the must haves for this role?

• Familiarity with enterprise technologies, including compute, storage, database, middleware, virtualization, firewalls, VPN, and load balancers
• Knowledge in methods used in performing risk analysis
• Effectively interact with business and IT units to provide end-to-end disaster recovery solutions
• Effective at managing multiple projects, efforts, and priorities concurrently
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interface with all levels within the business and IT organizations
• Familiarity with Agile methodology
• Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field; or work experience beyond the minimum required
