Guidewire Technical Consultant

Day to day responsibilities to include

• Design, development for implementation, upgrade and enhancement projects of Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, Digital, Data, Underwriting modules
  
• Leverage Configuration and/or Integration skills to develop best in class Guidewire solutions
  
• Work collaboratively with clients, leads, team members to understand requirements, design and develop appropriate solutions
  
• Provide oversight and leadership to junior team members ensuring high quality delivery
  
• Keep abreast with latest technological advancements on Guidewire and analyze impacts to current project workstream
  
• Work on Practice initiatives to build solutions, accelerators and create differentiated propositions

Your experience

• Total 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years of relevant experience.
  
• A background in the software development, with recent experience in design, development, enhancements, upgrade of Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter
  
• Commercial experience with GW version 7/8/9/10 (Configuration and Integration). Good to have experience of GW cloud.
  
• Strong experience and understanding of Edge API Framework and its integration with upstream digital applications
  
• Demonstrable experience of working in a hybrid applications landscape with GW and integrating applications on Cloud and on-premise
  
• Strong experience on java and Gosu to build and maintain general insurance policy and claims
  
• Good experience in Guidewire PC/CC configurations, customizations, third party integrations and incident/problem management
  
• Working knowledge and experience of developing RESTFUL and SOAP services
  
• Exposure to GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, Rally, SVN, JMS messaging queues
  
• Knowledge on XML and build scripts like Ant, logging mechanisms like log4j, slf4j
  
• Have the ability to work collaboratively, to include customers/colleagues and be comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
  
• Energetic and enthusiastic and be able to see tasks through to completion
  
• Good analytical, problem-solving and have a high attention to detail
  
• Certification in Guidewire version 10 is a plus.
