As a (Junior) Flutter Engineer, you will join our agile, cross-functional development team to create an amazing experience for millions of food lovers worldwide. You will be working on a product based on state-of-the-art technologies that has received global recognition for its success (for example through the Apple Design Award 2017 and the Google Play Design Award). Your mission as a (Junior) Flutter Engineer is to learn and grow from being heavily involved in the ongoing development cycles as well as contributing on a strategic level to our mission and roadmap. Your focus will be to help define, build and maintain existing mobile features across our mobile platform. We re looking for a developer who is hungry to grow within our highly skilled engineering team.
Tasks
- Together with our experienced product engineering team you work on building and maintaining our mobile platforms and consistently ship small features and improvements
- You will contribute to the development of our mobile infrastructure - there will be technical challenges all day every day and you will have the freedom to innovate and adopt new ideas
- You'll have the opportunity to be mentored by our senior engineers and learn a lot from closely collaborating in a cross-functional, agile team with product managers, engineers and designers
- You will communicate with technical and non-technical teammates to help clarify and solve complex problemsYou will work and grow with a team of passionate experts around you
Requirements
- You ve gained knowledge and practical experience with mobile development, ideally with building applications with Flutter in Android and iOS, from some projects or first working experience in mobile development
- You have basic experience with reading and interpreting Dart-based codebases, experience with Swift and Kotlin is a plus
- You have a strong interest in learning new technologies and are hungry to constantly evolve and acquire new knowledge
- The icing on the cake would be having basic experience of modern mobile tooling and being familiar with working with Test Driven Development
- You are a result-oriented and self-motivated creative thinker who likes to work independently and is highly structured
- You enjoy working in cross-functional teams, collaborating with product managers, other developers and designers throughout an agile development process
- You are fluent in English, German is a plus
- You enjoy good food and are inspired by it as a topic
- You are based in Berlin
