Job Description
- Liaising with other security team members such as guards and investigators to coordinate efforts
- Ensuring that security measures are in place to protect against theft, fire hazards, and other physical threats to assets
- Monitoring camera feeds from different locations in order to detect security breaches or potential crimes
- Conducting background checks on new employees to ensure they meet company standards
- Supervising the installation of security equipment such as surveillance cameras or alarms
- Maintaining security logs of all facility activities, such as visitors and employee timecards
- Coordinating security activities with other departments, including maintenance and human resources
- Reviewing security reports and identifying potential problems that need to be addressed
- Developing security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements
