Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Interfacing with and supervising vendors, suppliers and contractors to determine proper control device solutions and applications
- Designing of hardware and network infrastructure
- Troubleshooting faulty equipment to reduce any impact to plant production
- Maintaining Bus networks (e.g. Profibus, As-I bus, DeviceNet, Fieldbus)
- Implementing, maintaining and analysing I&C engineering plans and strategies for specific products and processes
- Evaluating existing I&C strategies for improvement/upgrades
- Managing instrument database applications, logic diagrams and control system drawing development (DCS I/O Lists, etc.)
- Providing technical oversight of process instrumentation, control systems, safety instrumented systems and data acquisition systems
- Hardware FAT execution
- Procuring project hardware
- Supporting P&ID development.
