ETL Developer

Position Summary The Senior Front-End Web Engineer will be part of cross-functional team tasked with applications development. Use SSIS to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from transactional database to data warehouse. Creating packages using SSIS. Strong experience in design, development, implementation, unit testing, Troubleshooting and support of ETL process. Create report models and deployed on report server. Need to create standard report Subscriptions and Data Driven report Subscriptions. Create report snapshots and cache for better performance. Ability to perform assigned tasks utilizing knowledge of SQL Server. Hands on experience in Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL), SSIS, data warehousing, and some expertise of SQL. Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies: Highly skilled in PL/SQL Server development experience. Strong knowledge in Dimensional modeling experience. Strong knowledge in Java, SQL/MySQL, and XML Consulting with data management teams to get a big-picture idea of the company’s data storage needs. Presenting the company with warehousing options based on their storage needs. Designing and coding the data warehousing system to desired company specifications. Conducting preliminary testing of the warehousing environment before data is extracted. Extracting company data and transferring it into the new warehousing environment. Testing the new storage system once all the data has been transferred. Troubleshooting any issues that may arise. Required Education and Experience Demonstrating experience in handling ETL tools experience, such as SSIS. Substantial experience with cloud-based computing services e.g., AWS (preferred) (or) Azure High School Diploma of GED Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field 4+ years of Database development experience Hands on Experience with AWS Buckets handling Extensive knowledge of coding languages, including Java, XML, and SQL. Proficiency in warehousing architecture techniques, including MOLAP, ROLAP, ODS, DM, and EDW. Proven work experience as an ETL developer. Experience in Agile/DevOps and product development SDLC Experience with modern browser technologies Working Conditions This job operates in a professional office environment Hybrid Work Culture May be subject to adverse weather conditions during times of travel
