Description:
Contract position (1 year) for Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for:
Assembling and testing of complex Medical Imaging Systems (SPECT and PET) using procedures, drawings, and hand tools
Handling radioactive material
Gather and record semi-complex production information; enter data into internal computer systems
Participates in semi-complex repairing and retesting for product
Resolves semi-complex manufacturing related problems affecting daily operations
May participate in technical problem solving/troubleshooting support to a manufacturing environment
Participates in troubleshooting for machine operations to determine parameters for improving efficiency in a production environment.
This position may suit you best if you are familiar with:
Experience using hand tools (cordless screwdrivers, Torque wrenches)
Experience using electronic tools (Multimeter, Hi-POT, Ground bond, Electrical safety analyzer)
High efficiency with Windows based computer systems including software loading and configuration.
Efficient manufacturing principles (ESD handling, lean manufacturing, 6S cleanliness program)
Good record keeping and accurate documentation skills
Willing to work with radioactive sources
Self-starter with an ability to work independently and as a team is essential.
A desire to achieve the highest quality possible is vital for this position.
Associate's degree in Electronics from an accredited program is preferred
Demonstrate comprehensive working knowledge of a technical or specialty area, and of operations, methods, and practices.
Work first shift 6am - 2:30pm Monday through Friday
Ability to work off hours, weekends and holidays may be required
Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
