- Specific, recent experience designing and deploying data infrastructure components in a cloud environment (e.g. AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Specific, recent experience deploying cloud infrastructure in a devops environment using 'infrastructure-as-code' tools such as
CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Experience working with event-driven data architectures, including queueing and publish/subscribe methodologies.

Statement of Work:
The University of Wisconsin-Madison requires a Business Intelligence Technical Lead IV to support data warehousing and real-time data integration initiatives, and design, build, deploy and monitor data repository systems to ensure reliability and accuracy of information loaded into the databases. Analyze the logical and physical database models, and ensure models are in accordance with standards. Build data integrations between enterprise systems such as Workday and cloud data repositories (e.g. AWS Redshift). Generate and prepare reports to drive business objectives. Perform analysis and testing of relational databases, and investigate any data load failures or data retrieval issues. Key responsibilities include:

Data integration, transport, synchronization and engineering
Data repository design

Work Location and Hours:
This position may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location. Work hours are flexible, but core hours are between 9:00am and 3:00pm.
