We have offices in Houston, New York, and prefer flexible hybrid work.
What you ll do
As part of the technology team, you'll work alongside other frontend engineers, backend engineers, mobile engineers, designers, and product managers to spearhead the development of several new web applications for our internal team, customers and consumer audience, reporting to engineering leadership that supports the team with technical guidance and cross-functional leadership and that supports you, individually, with career mentorship and development. We operate on 2-week sprints in an Agile-like way.

You know how to design and build systems for different clients.
You have several (minimum: 4) years of professional team-based engineering experience and have built widely-used single page applications with modern frameworks. You may have experience with ReactJS and TypeScript (huge bonus, if so), but we re open to other similar technologies. You do, however, have experience with and an appreciation for building simple, scalable, and usable code and componentized frontend systems that are easy to expand, and have depth in practical experience. You can discuss design systems, technical design patterns, and are pragmatic and experienced enough to know that chasing every new frontend technology isn t likely to speed us up. You also recognize that writing code is the baseline for engineers, and being able to appreciate and think through business and product challenges and provide your expert engineering guidance to drive solutions is where you will bring your full value to the team.
