Social Media Associate Producer
to further expand The Late Shows social media footprint. This person is responsible for helping create world-class content for the shows social media platforms, engaging with our audience, pitching new ideas, creating memes, capturing behind-the-scenes content during the shows taping and shoots, and turning the shows broadcast into engaging social content daily. This position reports to the Senior Producer of Digital & Social Content.
Primary responsibilities:
Edit video from the broadcast and turn it into digestible social content
Write strong and engaging social copy
Live-tweet the shows

broadcast and engage with our viewers
Identify and create GIFs from the broadcast
Write copy for promotional social posts (Ex: Upcoming guests, Podcast, Newsletter, etc.)
Pitch, concept, and create original TikToks & Instagram Reels
Curate Instagram Story from live studio taping
Additional Responsibilities:
Collaborate with The Late Shows podcast team on deliverables/assets
Write and curate The Late Shows weekly newsletter
Brainstorm social pitches & ideas for upcoming guests and events
Identify trends across social platforms that reflect both the show and Stephens tone and may appeal to our audience
Requirements:
Have a great sense of humor
Proven experience writing copy for social media
Familiar with AP style and copy editing
Proficiency in editing in Adobe Premiere Pro (Experience editing vertical video is a plus)
Experience creating original TikToks & Instagram Reels
Experience filming vertical content on an iPhone
Some experience using Adobe Photoshop
Broad understanding of and interest in current events, pop culture, and comedy
Prior experience on a comedy show is a plus
Ability to work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to work weeknights and available to work mornings and/or weekends as needed
Minimum two years of TV and/or social media/digital producing experience
