Job Description


IHS Markit is seeking a Client Service Analyst to sit in our Kuala Lumpur office and support clients on our Debtdomain platform. You will have an opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across business lines and global regions. This is an exciting opening for anyone eager to learn about finance, banking and high-technology.
Debtdomain is a Web-based system used daily by thousands of bankers, salespeople and investors who are active in the global loan syndication market. Debtdomain combines CRM and bookbuilding features to track and manage deal opportunities, with secure datarooms that enable sell-side banks to transmit highly confidential information to potential investors.


Personal Competencies:

Work with a global team of Service Analysts responsible for front-line client services on the Debtdomain platform
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written forms
Support duties for the Debtdomain client service team
Build & maintain strong customer relationships and provide outstanding client service, including onsite client coverage, training and support, where applicable.
The ability to prioritize tasks, adhere to deadlines and escalate urgent matters to management;
Capture and channel user feedback to the management team in order to facilitate the continuous improvement of our products and services.
Ad hoc duties and requests as required by the business.
Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customers issue; determining the cause of the problem; explaining the best solution or escalating to the appropriate team.
Escalate technical issues and liaise with product and development teamwork
Be self-motivated, take initiative, and welcome the challenge of problem solving
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task projects of short, medium, and long-term time ranges
Collaborate and work well within multiple organizational and functional departments
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
Ability to work in a tightly knit regional and global loans team


Education and experience:

Bachelors Degree preferred
Experience within the financial industry would be preferred, but not a requirement
Excellent written, spoken and verbal communication skills, including strong interpersonal skills and articulate phone presence

Mandarin or Cantonese speaker preferred.



Commercial awareness

Ability to think laterally and analyze and question processes
Proficient in MS office
Team player
Ability to identify and escalate issues or concerns
Excellent prioritization, organizational and time management skills a requirement
Eager to learn with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Great organizational skills is a requirement
Must be able handle stressful customer situations with patience and poise
Proficient PC skills, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in working with internet-based applications
Ability to review processes and suggest improvements

Communication

Must demonstrate superior communication skills and is expected to interact professionally across business units within the company and to our client base. Mandarin or Cantonese speaker preferred.
