Actuarial Manager - Remote, Group Products
Will report to VP of Risk Management. Opportunity has high visibility with no supervisory responsibilities. Targeting 10 years of actuarial experience. ASA/MAAA required to be able to sign Actuarial Statement of Opinions.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Valuations of Supplemental Life, Life, Disability products
2. Group life & disability reserve calculations and reporting
3. Reserving analysis and reporting - Stat/GAAP basis
4. Calculating IBNR reserves for group life, AD&D, STD and other products
5. Will work directly with Appointed Actuary to prepare the Annual Actuarial Opinion (RAAIS)
Requires:
Solid understanding of group market products
Experience and solid technical skills in ICOS, IBNR, Claim Reserves, Policy Reserves and Financial Reporting
Working knowledge of SOA CE credits
A collaborative spirit
Has an eye for process improvements
Big picture visionary
