Our client company is seeking an experienced engineer to provide technical support in project development and execution, maintenance troubleshooting, and installation, startup and turnaround activities on all PLCs, DCS and instruments.

You must be willing to:
Use engineering theory/practices/principles to determine root cause of equipment instrument failures
Provide direction to resolve field related problems pertaining to control systems/equipment.
Prepare engineering studies/schematic design for new systems/analyze operation of existing systems
Prepare/review construction budgets based scope of project for replacement/new instruments/control logic
Manage outside contractors/vendors
Assign/review work of project teams

Requirements (IF YOU DONT HAVE THESE, DONT APPLY)
BS in CE/ME/EE preferred
Minimum 5 years in a directly related controls position
Hands-on knowledge of control systems (DCS/PLC)/skills related to ABB Foxboro Delta V control systems
Experience with concepts related to level/temperature/pressure/flow measurement
Knowledge of instrumentation/valves/transmitters
