Work with application owners, Middleware Infrastructure Services and Operations team on resiliency and automation opportunities, especially on DevOps initiatives. Identify opportunities for process and tool improvements and drive them from concept to implementation. Leverage existing open-source frameworks, third-party components/libraries, cloud, and commercial software to design and develop robust enterprise solutions. Ability to implement test-driven development with a strong focus on automation testing. Keep abreast of the latest development practices and the product road maps of Middleware products. Interact with application and infrastructure teams to identify application impacts, and to collaborate on interface design and technical specification design documentation. Engage in project scoping, release management, build planning, technical documentation, and status reporting. Troubleshoot CI/CD infrastructure issues and work with Application Production Support and vendors for product-related issues. Architect and develop disaster recovery topology for middleware cloud infrastructure. Support large mission-critical systems in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure issues across multiple technologies and platforms. Virtual / work-from-home benefit available.
5 years of progressively responsible IT experience. All qualifying experience must include: building CI/CD automation pipelines using Ansible, Jenkins, UDeploy, and GitHub; Microservices Architecture and Rest patterns using industry-leading recommended security frameworks, and leveraging API Gateway and OKTA; public cloud infrastructure on AWS and on-prem OpenShift platform; Test Automation Skills using TDD methodology; using SOA to build enterprise solutions; database development and tuning on relational and non-relational databases; Docker containers and Quay stacks to deploy on containerized architectures.
