Being responsible for daily operation of a high-volume kitchen Working alongside the Head Chef to create and produce high end desserts Managing inventory levels throughout the kitchen Evaluating products to assure that quality, price and related goods are consistently met Ensuring high quality plates, both in taste and design, are being served Complying with federal and local health sanitation regulations and company and department sanitation policies Were looking for candidates who have/are: 3 years of cooking experience 1-2+ years of pastry experience The ability to effectively communicate, motivate and interact with all levels within the organization Experience in recruiting, selecting and onboarding is considered an asset Performance management experience is preferred High level knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls and presentation The ability to effectively multitask and manage multiple projects Bread baking and pasta making experience an asset We are an equal opportunity employer and committed to offering inclusive employment opportunities with preference given to qualified and experienced individuals who are excited about hospitality and a team mindset.
